About Antonio
Originally from the Northeast part of the United States, I grew up in a very physical environment where the body was seen as an important aspect to work on. I began taking dance lessons as a young child and eventually moved into folk-style wrestling, the latter I practiced for a decade. Due to the specialization in the field of wrestling, I came out of this discipline with a lot of injuries and weaknesses but I wanted to continue to move my body. This is where I found martial arts including Jeet Kune Do and Jiu-Jitsu as well as other physically challenging arts like Rock Climbing, Parkour and Hand Balancing. All of my free time was spent practicing these various arts intensely under the best teachers and mentors I could find. I was slowly starting to realize that it wasn’t the particles in the cloud I was interested in, it was the cloud itself.

Teachers & Education
I have had the honor to be under the guidance of many great teachers and mentors over the decades that I have been practicing. These include my martial arts teacher Chris Hoy, my wrestling coach Todd Haverdill, my Movement teachers Ido Portal, Odelia Goldschmidt, and Johnny Sapinoso, my Mother (my first teacher) and many others that have shaped me on my journey. I am forever a student.
This passion and obsession forced me out of my comfort zones, traveling to many different cities, states and countries to learn from the very best in specific fields. I spent many years in China studying traditional arts and healing practices as well as many other arts and disciplines around the world. My main objective is to practice and teach the ideas of bringing a Movement Practice back into our lives.
I believe if you truly love something it should be what you spend most of your free time doing. I dedicate 6+ hours everyday to my physical practice, I take my job as a teacher extremely seriously and I conduct research, read and learn on a daily basis. The education of a teacher is never finished. I am both the practitioner and the teacher and I always will be.
Beyond the tutelage under many teachers, I also have a formal education graduating with honors with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology.
